Series,) Harlem Song at the world famous Apollo Theatre, Drowning Crow, Manhattan Theatre Club; The Mineola Twins at the Manhattan Theatre Club and Blade to the Heat and Insurrection at the New York Public Theatre. U.S. Regional theater credits as choreographer include; Purlie, Pasadena Playhouse and the Goodman Theater; ) and Guys and Dolls (Arenat Stage.) As director/choreogrpher: Ain’t Misbehavin (Arena Stage,) Spunk (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park,) Smokey Joes’ Café (Alabama Shakespeare Festival.) Film and television credits include George C. Wolfe's Lackawanna Blues for HBO, Preaching to the Choir (directed by Charles Randolph Wright), and John Leguizamo's House of Buggin' for Fox T.V. Mr. Roberson's awards include; an Emmy Award nomination; two NAACP achievement awards, a Drama Desk nomination, a Lucille Lortel nomination, an AUDELCO Award; NPT spirit award; a NYSCA and an Our Time Theater Award. A writer and performer, Mr. Roberson’s one man show MIDDLE AGED PASSAGE CRISIS has generated a cult following. Mr. Roberson is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Henry Grady School of Journalism.
