Won the 2004 Tony Award® for Best Book of a Musical for AVENUE Q. His play The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler recently premiered at South Coast Repertory in California. Other plays include The Hiding Place, The Plank Project, Balls, and Suicide Weather. Companies presenting his work include the Atlantic Theater Company, the Vineyard Theatre, and The NewGroup. Screenplays include Zora, and an untitled musical project for Universal with music by Andre 3000 of Outkast.
